Here we offer students a practice-oriented and high-quality education that optimally prepares them for a successful professional future or studies at a university of applied sciences. Our dedicated and experienced team of teachers accompanies the students on their path to a professional future and prepares them for both the university entrance qualification and a dual training programme. By combining theoretical knowledge with practical application, the students are ideally prepared to enter their desired profession.<\/p>\n\n

We view education as a holistic process that requires the successful combination of FORMAL EDUCATION and INFORMAL EDUCATION. Our campus offers a wide range of opportunities for this and creates optimal conditions for the educational success of our pupils.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Focus on individuality<\/p>

Our Concept<\/h2>

The Dietrich Bonhoeffer Bildungscampus was developed as an all-day school in order to offer parents reliable and pedagogically sound care for their children.<\/p>\n\n

This gives pupils much more time to develop their skills and interests. We encourage this through our wide range of individualised activities in the areas of sport, but also technology\/science, social, creative, music, languages and many more activities that encourage pupils to discover and develop their talents.<\/p>\n\n

Private time is private time<\/h3>\n\n

Pupils usually complete their written homework at school and can prepare for exams under pedagogical guidance. After school, they can devote themselves entirely to their free time.<\/p>\n\n

Lessons start at 08:05 and end at 16:05. On Fridays, lessons end at 13:25.<\/p><\/div>

Ready for general higher education in two years<\/h2>

Our Fachoberschule (FOS) is a place where students have the opportunity to prepare for the general higher education entrance qualification in just two years. In this short period of time, we not only impart theoretical knowledge, but also place a special focus on practical application. Our aim is to prepare our graduates in the best possible way for a wide range of professional and academic paths.<\/p>

Business and administration branch<\/h3>

Our Business and Administration branch offers students a broad foundation in business and administration-related topics. Practical projects and lessons prepare them for a variety of business degree programmes and careers by giving them a deep understanding of business processes.<\/p>

New from the 2024\/2025 school year:<\/p>

Branch Agriculture, Bio- & Environmental Technology<\/h3>

ABU stands for Agricultural Economics, Bio- & Environmental Technology. In addition to the general education subjects, the profile of the course is characterised by teaching in several scientific subjects such as biology, chemistry, physics and technology. Subject-specific working methods, modern working techniques and current research methods are covered. The programme also focuses on subjects such as microbiology, ecology, genetics and metabolism. In addition to the theoretical background, a further focus is on practical work: Experimentation, microscopy and investigation form central teaching components. In addition to basic chemistry, environmental issues and the basics of soil and plant science also play an important role. Practical training offers diverse and interesting opportunities to gain an insight into professions and work processes and to gain important initial practical experience in the fields of ecology, chemical and environmental technology or agriculture, forestry, horticulture and landscaping.<\/p>

The ABU specialisation therefore offers a contemporary and future-oriented basic education in the socially relevant areas of sustainability and responsible action. Topics such as nutrition and environmental protection, which are particularly relevant to the younger generation, are also discussed in depth.<\/p>

In preparation for subsequent studies, ABU provides the foundations for degree programmes in the fields of biology and environment, nutritional science and food technology or medicine, health and sport and is therefore a promising, very broad and often interesting branch of education.<\/p>

Perspective<\/h3>

Graduates with the general entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences open up numerous academic and professional prospects. This qualification gives them access to universities of applied sciences and universities of applied sciences, where they can deepen and expand their specialist knowledge in a variety of degree programmes. There are technical, economic, social and artistic degree programmes available that are tailored to the requirements of the modern working world and offer practical training.<\/p>

In addition, graduates of the Fachoberschule have the opportunity to acquire the general higher education entrance qualification via FOS 13. This opens further doors for studying at universities, in addition to the universities of applied sciences and universities of applied sciences that are already accessible.<\/p>

As a speciality, our Cambridge International School offers the opportunity to obtain the International Baccalaureate in just 1 year.<\/p>

In the professional field, the general entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences opens up attractive prospects, as graduates can enter the labour market directly and qualify for demanding positions in a wide range of industries. Working with electronic media has become an integral part of today's working world. The Dietrich Bonhoeffer Bildungscampus is also facing up to these requirements and is preparing pupils accordingly by integrating technology into lessons. Our main aim is to use a sensible mix of \"analogue\" and \"digital\" technology.<\/p>\n\n

Both handwriting and the use of digital media result in modern learning skills. Recognising limits and opportunities - for us, this includes the independent use of both technologies and methods. We are breaking new ground here.<\/p>\n\n

All pupils work with laptops (\"bring your own device\") and learn in classrooms with interactive touchscreens. We utilise modern ways and possibilities of the digital world in both sport and school.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

In addition to school-based training, we offer time slots for individualisation directly in the classroom: four 100-minute units per week. Two lessons per day.<\/p>\n\n

Pupils can choose between courses in sports, but also technology\/MINT, social, creative, music, languages and many more activities that encourage them to discover and develop their talents.<\/p>\n\n

We value uniqueness and specifically promote individuality. At the same time, we emphasise a sense of community. That is why we have created a modern living space on campus that is orientated towards the individual talents and needs of the young people entrusted to us.<\/p><\/div><\/div>

Our aim is to help our pupils achieve the best possible school-leaving qualification. They can receive targeted support and improve their performance through individualised support programmes.<\/p>\n\n

In addition to the use of modern technologies such as learning platforms and digital learning materials, we provide our students with targeted support in school matters, for example through holiday support before exams, exam simulations and presentation training.<\/p>\n\n
